Dr. Monica Blancas, DDS

Dr. Monica Blancas was raised in Erath, Louisiana.
She graduated in 1992 from Erath high school. Attended Lsu Baton Rouge and majored in microbiology.
From there, relocated to New Orleans where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2000.
She completed a year residency in Advance education in general dentistry (AEGD) in Jackson Mississippi.
Dr. Blancas is member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Leslie is married to Paul Whittington (Whittington Vet Clinic) and they have 3 boys: Charlie and Chandler (twins, age 2) and Chip (5 months).

Bought practice (former office of Dr. Gordy Landry) in 2013 with Monica Blancas and Hiep Nguyen
Hometown: Winnsboro, LA (north LA); met husband Paul while in Baton Rouge for undergrad
In her spare time Leslie enjoys volunteering with the Jr League of Lafayette, playing tennis, going to church, and spending time with her family

Dr. Nguyen is happily married to Le and has 2 sons, Henley and Jett, and a dog named Samson.

Dr. Hiep Nguyen received his undergraduate degree in biology from USL and his dental degree from the LSU School of Dentistry in 2000. After dental school, he practiced in Breaux Bridge, LA for 7 years.
In 2007, he purchased his main dental practice in Lafayette, LA. He has been practicing all phases of dentistry for 17 years! Dr. Nguyen has attended Continuing Education course worldwide.
In 2012, he joined Abbeville Family Dentistry with Dr. Monica Blancas and Dr. Leslie Whittington!
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Denistry, the Acadiana Dental District Association, the Acadiana Dental Study Club, and the Acadiana Southern Society Study Club.
He is a Faculty Gratis professor for the ULL/LSUSD hygiene school.
Dr. Nguyen maintains a practice in Lafayette, LA and part-time practice in Abbeville, LA.
